Day 1: Vientiane Arrival (-/ -/ -)

Upon arrival at Wattay International Airport. As the sun sets, stroll through the Chao Anouvong Park and the vibrant Night Market.

Overnight at hotel in Vientiane. 

Day 2: Vientiane (B/ L/ D) 

Spend a full day diving deep into Lao history. 

Morning: Visit That Luang Stupa, the golden symbol of Lao sovereignty, followed by a climb to the top of Patuxay (Victory Gate) for a panoramic view of the capital’s French-inspired boulevards. 

your guide will escort you to your riverside hotel. Begin your exploration at Wat Sisaket, the only temple to survive the Siamese invasion of 1828, featuring over 6,000 silver and ceramic Buddha statues 

Afternoon: Drive to the quirky Buddha Park (Wat Xieng Khuan), an outdoor sculpture garden on the banks of the Mekong filled with over 200 eccentric Buddhist and Hindu statues.

Day 3: Vientiane to Vang Vieng (B/ L/ D) 

Take the morning, A scenic drive via the expressway to Vang Vieng (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, the scenery shifts from urban bustle to dramatic limestone karsts. 

Activity: Embark on a private boat trip along the Nam Song River to soak in the mountain views. Later, visit the Tham Chang Cave, historically used as a bunker against marauding Chinese pirates. take a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters of Blue Lagoon 1 and onward to visit Angle cave. 

Sunset: Enjoy a sundowner overlooking the rice paddies.

Day 4: Vang Vieng – Luang Prabang (B) 

Wake up early for an optional Hot Air Balloon flight over the karst peaks. After breakfast, Transfer to the train station depart for Luangprabang.  

Upon your arrival, your dedicated guide and driver will greet you for a private transfer to your hotel. After checking in, we’ll take a gentle orientation walk through the historic center. You’ll stroll through quiet streets lined with French colonial architecture and lush tropical greenery. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, perhaps exploring the vibrant Night Market.

Day 5: Luang Prabang (B/ L/ )

Today is dedicated to the cultural and natural icons of the region. 

Morning: Step back in time at the Royal Palace Museum, followed by the serene Wat Mai. We then visit the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, a masterpiece of Lao temple architecture with its sweeping roofs and “tree of life” glass mosaics. 

Afternoon: We drive through the scenic countryside to the stunning Kuang Si Waterfall. Enjoy the turquoise pools and the nearby Bear Rescue Centre before returning to town in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Luang Prabang (B/ L/ )

Morning Rituals: Rise early for the optional Alms Giving ceremony, a silent, sacred tradition. Afterward, we’ll summit Mount Phousi for a panoramic sunrise view of the city, followed by a visit to the bustling Morning Market to sample local snacks. Return to hotel for breakfast. 

Mekong River Cruise: Board a private boat for a scenic 2-hour journey upstream. We’ll stop at authentic riverside villages before reaching the Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues nestled inside limestone cliffs. We return to town before the sun begins to set.

Day 7: Luang Prabang departure (B)

Enjoy a final breakfast before an early check-out and private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
