08:30 Pick up at your hotel and begin your city tour of Hanoi, where ochre-coloured French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and tranquil lakes create a charming backdrop for a journey through Vietnam’s rich history, beginning with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to learn about the life and legacy of the nation’s founder. Continue to the house on stilts before visiting the One Pillar pagoda.
Then, we will visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, founded in the 11th century, renowned for its well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and its tranquil courtyards. Drive back to your hotel at 12:00

Enjoy a brief visit to the Royal Antique Museum, home to an impressive collection of artifacts from the Nguyen Dynasty, including royal costumes, ceramics, and personal belongings of the emperors.
Continue to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s most iconic landmarks. Built in 1601, this seven-storied tower pagoda sits atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the Perfume River and the surrounding countryside. Its historic and spiritual significance make it a must-visit in Hue.

In the afternoon, continue to the elaborate Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, known for its unique blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles. Cu Chi tunnels evolved into a vast subterranean complex, serving as living quarters, communication and supply routes, and more. Touring this remarkable site offers a deeper understanding of the ingenuity, endurance, and resilience of the Vietnamese during times of war.
Explore sections of the tunnels, learn about life underground, and gain insight into the strategies that shaped Vietnam’s wartime history.
After the visit, return to Saigon.

13:30 Continue your journey at Notre Dame Cathedral, an impressive red-brick church with twin spires, built using materials imported entirely from France.

Depart from Ho Chi Minh City for a 2.5-hour drive to Cai Be, where you will stroll through an orchard, taste fresh fruits, and enjoy traditional music at a local garden.
Then, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time.
Then, back to our boat to go across one of the longest rivers, the Mekong River, to come to An Bình Island. Cruise along a handmade canal to Ut Trinh’s home for a simple lunch. After lunch, visit nearby workshops to see how rice paper, coconut candy, and popped rice are made—followed by tea and local sweets.
Optional biking can be made for leisure: Through village paths offers a closer look at local life: orchards, school, church, pagoda, and traditional houses.
Stop at the brick kilns to see how clay pottery is made. The cruise ends in Vinh Long, then transferred by car on a 2-hour drive to your hotel in Can Tho.

Smaller boats weave through the market, selling breakfast to both locals and visitors.
Cruise back to your hotel and enjoy some time at leisure before checking out. Depart Can Tho and begin the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, stopping en route to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Arrive in Saigon in the late afternoon.
