08:30 Pick up at your hotel and begin your city tour of Hanoi, where ochre-coloured French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and tranquil lakes create a charming backdrop for a journey through Vietnam’s rich history, beginning with a visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to learn about the life and legacy of the nation’s founder. Continue to the house on stilts before visiting the One Pillar pagoda.
Then, we will visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university founded in the 11th century, renowned for its well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and its tranquil courtyards. Drive back to your hotel at 12:00

17:00 In the early evening, you will experience a traditional water puppet performance, a distinctive art form originating from northern Vietnam. This captivating tradition began in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta, where villagers entertained themselves by manipulating puppets over water. Puppeteers stand waist-deep behind a screen, skillfully moving wooden puppets across the surface with long rods. Each scene depicts stories from Vietnamese folklore or rural life, accompanied by traditional music featuring drums, flutes, cymbals, and other folk instruments.

Enjoy lunch as the cruise glides through the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Explore Ao Ech, a hidden paradise far from the bustle of everyday life.
In the evening, Cruises anchors in the peaceful waters of Tra Bau, offering the perfect setting to soak in the bay’s natural beauty.
Join a cooking demonstration at sunset, then end the day with a delightful dinner onboard, surrounded by the calm and charm of the bay.

After breakfast, continue your journey with a visit to Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island, nestled in the heart of Cat Ba National Park. Travel by bus through lush greenery before exploring this remarkable natural wonder. Afterwards, return to the boat.

Depart at 8:30 AM to visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enter through the main gate and admire the magnificent architecture as your guide shares fascinating stories about the former royal court.
Though heavily bombed during the Vietnam War, many parts of the citadel remain impressively well-preserved, with others carefully undergoing restoration. As you explore this historic site, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s imperial history under the Nguyen Dynasty.
Enjoy a brief visit to the Royal Antique Museum, home to an impressive collection of artifacts from the Nguyen Dynasty, including royal costumes, ceramics, and personal belongings of the emperors.
Next, continue to the elaborate Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, known for its unique blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles. While smaller than many other royal tombs, it stands out with flamboyant decorations, featuring the largest dragon sculptures in Vietnam flanking the stairways. The fusion of traditional Vietnamese design with modern European influences makes this tomb truly unique among Hue’s royal monuments. Return to your hotel.

Today, this UNESCO World Heritage-listed town is celebrated for its remarkably well-preserved architecture and vibrant local cuisine, offering visitors a captivating glimpse into its rich and layered past.
A guided walking tour through Hoi An’s narrow lanes reveals the town’s timeless charm. Highlights include former merchants’ houses; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community; and the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation is one of the most remarkable historical sightseeing attractions when you visit Hoi An and the colorful market. Return to your hotel.

Leave the city center, embark on a 2-hour drive northwest to the Cu Chi Tunnels—an immense network of underground passageways first developed in 1948 to protect Viet Cong guerrillas from French air and ground attacks.
Cu Chi tunnels evolved into a vast subterranean complex, serving as living quarters, communication and supply routes and more. Touring this remarkable site offers a deeper understanding of the ingenuity, endurance, and resilience of the Vietnamese during times of war.
Explore sections of the tunnels, learn about life underground, and gain insight into the strategies that shaped Vietnam’s wartime history.
After the visit, return to Saigon.

13:30 Continue your journey at Notre Dame Cathedral, an impressive red-brick church with twin spires, built using materials imported entirely from France.
Across the square, visit the Central Post Office, a beautiful colonial-era building completed in 1891, known for its grand architecture and historical significance.
You will then take a short drive to the former Presidential Palace (also known as the Reunification Palace), which served as the headquarters of the South Vietnamese government during the Vietnam War.

After breakfast, drive about 2 hours from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre. Take a boat ride along the Mekong River, passing lush mangroves and local life in action—fishing, coconut transport, and more.
Visit a traditional brick kiln, a coconut processing workshop, and a coconut candy factory, where you’ll enjoy fresh sweets, tropical fruits and traditional folk music.
Cruise through narrow canals to a countryside village. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore village life with a short walk, visit a mat-weaving house, and try weaving yourself.
Drive a tuk-tuk through peaceful coconut groves, then continue by rowboat on shady palm tree canal. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before cruising back to the pier and returning to your hotel in Saigon.
