Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, after clearing all immigration and customs procedures, please proceed to the arrival hall via the exit gate. Your guide will be waiting for you at the exit, holding a welcome sign with your name on it. They will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi.
The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Tour the vibrant city of Hanoi, where ochre-coloured French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and tranquil lakes create a charming backdrop for a journey through Vietnam’s rich history, beginning with a visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to learn about the life and legacy of the nation’s founder. Continue to the “house on stilts” before visiting the One Pillar pagoda.

Continue to visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university founded in the 11th century, renowned for its well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and its tranquil courtyards, before returning to your hotel.

Evening, ride pillion on vintage Vespas through the capital city’s iconic narrow streets while sampling sensational food for a truly authentic Hanoi-style night out with local people and live music. All food and drink is included, so please bring a healthy appetite!
Enjoy a fun-filled evening starting with hotel pickup and a relaxing coffee at a cozy café overlooking St. Joseph’s Cathedral, followed by tasting local street snacks and riding through the bustling alleys of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Stop at a unique spot just inches from the train tracks to learn about local life, then continue your journey to taste local specialty and end the night at a vibrant live music venue before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Ninh – Hanoi (B/ L/ -)

Leave Hanoi behind for a scenic 2-hour drive to Ninh Binh, a province known for its dramatic limestone landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The tour begins at Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital from the 10th century. While the original citadel has faded with time, the remaining Dinh and Le dynasty temples offer a glimpse into the country’s royal past, nestled among lush rice paddies and peaceful countryside.
After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Tam Coc, often called “Halong Bay on Land”, for a relaxing sampan boat ride through caves and beneath towering karst cliffs—an unforgettable natural experience.
Later, enjoy a leisurely 5 km bike ride along quiet rural roads and through traditional villages before returning to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City (B/ L/ -)

Begin your journey at Notre Dame Cathedral, an impressive red-brick church with twin spires, built entirely with materials imported from France.

Just across the square, visit the Central Post Office, a beautiful colonial-era building completed in 1891, known for its grand architecture and historical significance.
Next, take a short drive to the former Presidential Palace (now known as the Reunification Palace), which served as the headquarters of the South Vietnamese government during the American War.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you’ll get a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

In the afternoon, continue to the War Remnants Museum, which offers a powerful and often graphic perspective of the war, told through the eyes of the Vietnamese people.
Then drive to Chinatown to visit the stunning Thien Hau Pagoda, built by the Cantonese community in the early 19th century to honor the Goddess of the Sea.
Continue to FITO Museum, the first museum of traditional medicine in Vietnam. The exhibits provide a fascinating look into the history, philosophy, and applications of traditional Vietnamese medicine.
Conclude your day by relaxing with a traditional Vietnamese coffee or another local drink as your guide shares insights into daily life and offers a short Vietnamese language lesson before returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre – My Tho (B/ L/ -)

After breakfast, drive about 2 hours from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre. Take a boat ride along the Mekong River, passing lush mangroves and local life in action—fishing, coconut transport, and more.
Visit a traditional brick kiln, a coconut processing workshop, and a coconut candy factory, where you’ll enjoy fresh sweets, tropical fruits and traditional folk music.
Cruise through narrow canals to a countryside village. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore village life with a short walk, visit a mat-weaving house, and try weaving yourself.
Drive a tuk-tuk through peaceful coconut groves, then continue by rowboat on shady palm tree canal. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before cruising back to the pier and transferring to The Island Lodge for your overnight stay.
